Outcast
Hey folks,
I decide -hope for a moment- as an outcast. I stuck at home. Sit in the corner and take the silent. Grow in the corner without doing anything, listening to the 'Lazy Song'. I feel desperate. I am the stupid and think really like a stupid. I do what an outcast does. I think what a lazy thinks. Well, d*mn my self.
~World, people:
Besides, in the world, people change. They change to better. They'd gone far away and leave behind. They settle in the moon, and I accept the moonlight. They proud of themselves and I stuck with my pessimism.
After all, I am still here. I still have a body and mind to do something, not a lazy thing. I just must go reaching the what you call success. Ah, am I really good to be that one success?

2012 Jakarta Governor Election Part 1
Hey pals, yeah I know, so much time I disappeared and now I am coming back to you, whether you want to read this bloody blog or not. :gigling:
| source: thejakartaglobe.com |
The win of Jokowi shocked people and survey institutions. Because you all had known that most of survey institutions announced their research of this election with Foke – Nara as the winner. Foke – Nara, according them, could deserve big percentage of others. But the facts said different from what they might hope. Yeah pals, you may never believe with survey institutions because they might not really working correctly and just err, being a campagne team for those who paid them. Good trading.
Now what next? Yeah pals, if you are the Jakarta citizens, just get ready for the second round on September 2012, still in this year. Choose the best leader for you. Jakarta is a special area. It is not only a capital for a province but also for a country. You are the specialist, pals, for knowing of Jakarta problems, so you know much.
I continued eating my pudding while the dusty radio let me heard the information. Some of people (they called this Radio and revealed their opinion) didn’t like for the result of election. They suggested that people should choose the candidate no. 4 that wise and religious rather than Jokowi and others. Hmm, well, no body’s perfect, pals. Hey you who supported the candidate no. 4, just see the facts that people now have no believe again to parties especially your party. The recommendation is to stop talking and hating those who didn’t support you, then improve your self.
Haah.. just got headache and hungry for a thousand times of thinking this. Okay pals, I’m off. Success you all. Bye.

Taking Lesson from Kronos's Dialogue

I was about to finish my reading on Percy Jackson 5: The Last Olympian. Finally I got reading on the last sequel, yay! :D Then I reached page something on chapter 16. I stopped a moment when I read one of Kronos's dialogue on that novel. I was interesting with that dialogue. It's so quip.
"I hate this place," Kronos growled. "United Nations. As if mankind could ever unite. Remind me to tear down this building after we destroy Olympus."
Now see what's happened today in this world. See what's happening in Middle East? Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Bahrain, Yemen. The biggest happening now is in Libya. The famous Muammar Qadafi, great leader in that rich country for more than 41 years, was asked to step down from his position. Now the problem became bigger and bigger. Libya Government should face two 'enemies'; the rebels in country and foreign troops (NATO, France, etc).
I didn't know what did they want against Libya. Is it because of Oil case? Economic crisis? Well, Is there not another way besides against using weapons?
Well, that's human. Moretimes human can be a monster than a monster itself. :D Muslim holly book, Koran, says that God said that Human was scheduled as a Caliph on earth. That time angels complained about that plan, but God said, "I know better than you all". So, it's right human has a heart to kill each other and able to become a big monster than a monster itself. But human was given an ability to think and choose which the best thing to do. That's a second duties of them, since the first duties is Praying to God.
I hope God still left many good people in this world to change and calm the earth better. I miss a good and peace world. Miss it so much.

World to Notice Japan Earthquake and Tsunami
arta, IndonesiaAt 1:30 pm I was trapped in the elevator with 13 others. It was over 20 minutes. I tried to be relax, then I was playing games on my cell phone. I let people around me busy with their panic and effort to call someone outside. We were stuck! Really need some help.
2:20 pm. I was still in calm condition lobby with three mates of office and boss. We waited electricity system in the building back to normal again.
Almost 3 pm. I was in the office again. Seeing my twitter and so much shocked news about Japan. It said: "8.8 M quake and Tsunami hit Japan!"; "Let's #prayforjapan"; "#helpjapan". I was wondering, what's happened with Japan? Tsunami? It's really shocked.
I started surfing more detail about Japan today. How could earthquake and tsunami hit so fast? How the process? How the severity of the effect? And what I got were really shocked. I saw some video how the tsunami came hit so fast and how people, building, vehicles were curled in the same wave. It's so horrible.
I loved what Japan PM Ministry said to his people to act quickly and help one another. It's a strong solidarity and so humanity. Then world's eyes notice deeper. It told the heart to give hands to Japan and help it to cure everything. Help Japan and pray for it. As human it's our destiny to act so humanity.

Hey Norris, So This is EiDiEmDi?
Yesterdays I heard controversial news that made Muslims throughout the world cried out. The news was Everybody Draws Mohammed Day contest a.k.a EDMD appeared on Facebook as a page. And it had more than 65,000 who liked it.
Molly Norris, a cartoonist of Seattle, USA was the first who blew this idea regarding a broadcaster’s censorship of an episode of South Park, the satirical animated television series, which depicted Muhammad in a bear suit. On seattletimes.com stated that she had drawn her cartoon to support the creator of South Park. Norris said it would sent bad message to the country if they did a censorship. "I just felt so strongly — I just felt they sent a really fearful negative message to the country: It could be a slippery slope toward censorship in America," she said.
But Norris’ idea had suggested some strangers to make the EDMD real on facebook. Two graduate students from Europe started a facebook page in supporting EDMD on May 20 and they also started wordpress as well where they said they would post submitted drawings. Another woman started the same page as well. And it also had many members who supported that page. And this drew heat in Muslims. They made a movement to against EDMD. In Indonesia where the first large number Muslims stay, people fulminated EDMD and it creators. Even in Pakistan, the government ordered the internet provider service to block facebook until May 31.
Regarding this situation, Norris disavowed that she’d ever started EDMD facebook page. She also posted apologize statement on her blog, mollynorris.com. She said, “I never started a facebook page; I never set up any place for peole to send drawings to and I never received any drawings (I see that two European graduate students and another woman started the facebook pages). … I apologize to people of Muslim faith and ask that this 'day' be called off.”
For Muslims, Mohammed the prophet is the most perfect man in the world from time to time. It is forbidden to us to depict his face. On Hadith, it’s said that to discourage depictions of any living creature. So that’s why Muslims against any depictions for their prophet.
From this situation, we can learn that we must realize we’re living in one place with people from various race, custom, manner, tradition, religion, etc. So that we should be careful with what things we gonna speak to others. A blog commentator said that Freedom of Speech (FoS) doesn’t mean hurting someone’s or religion’s integrity. You can see what has happened with Norris after she expressed support drawing for South Park. It drew heat and cried out from Muslims. Then, now on we must do care our mistakes and learn from them to discourage negative reaction from others and we can live in harmony.

Do Think: What Do You Want From You?
I am a creative person. Having great-great-great imagination and concept and idea. But one thing, I have less passion to bring them into reality. I don’t know why. Then I found the why answer in Anis Matta Book, Model Manusia Muslim Abad XXI. Matta said the main problem is the motivation we have. The less motivation we have, the less effort we do. And the more motivation we have, the more effort we do also.
Matta thought that if we just keep our concept and idea in deep part of our mind without action, we cannot realize them. The idea would be stay in mind forever. It would be a prisoner in our mind and dying there. The one thing should we do in realizing our idea is collecting the power. We need energy to run our concept. Unless we want them to be a concept only, just leave the effort of collecting the power and do nothing.
Matta stated, to build a strong motivation we need two more things after collecting the power; using and returning it back to ourselves. The main questions to shape the motivation are, where you will go; what your destination; what are you going to be. Those would help you to collect the power. You will find the motivation after you answer ‘what do you want from you?’. Be honest to yourself. Then you can specify what things do you need to get what you want. So friends, WHAT DO YOU REALLY WANT FROM YOU?

At the Bus Station
Crowded. Messy. Smoky.
I just arrived at the bus station. As usual, people and buses were crossing over the street. It was really crowded. I sighed and asked to myself: is it possible to change the bus station condition? Is it possible to straightened up this crowded? I sighed again.
Then I stopped the red cab. This was a public cab. You could get in with other passengers and paid the driver to bring you to your destination. I sat in that little cab and took my green mask. I have to stick that mask into my half-face and cover my mouth and nose. This was Jakarta, a crowded-messy-smoky city. You should have a mask to protect yourself from poison air.
I let my face glanced toward the west. I saw red has been covering the horizon. That was twilight. Then I smiled with closed eyes. I was forgetting all things I hate.

it touches my stuff inside
i never felt this before. girls, i am really a new comer to this space. let’s call that space with a love space or other mellow names. well, it’s been few months. and actually i have no any feeling to him. but then, when someone cares you continuously, wow, what can you say? can you help yourself to ignore it? can you help yourself to not being happy? can you help yourself to not being touched?
i just, hmm, yeah, actually, i have made some criteria to choose my future king. it’s not too high, and of course it’s not low too. hmm, hey guys, AM I TOO IDEALIST? hey, please, i just put criteria to make a decision, in case there are some gentle man come to me. so that you will not in the middle of being confuse, because you have held some criteria in your mind.
yea, i know, do not speak too much about criteria. don’t be too fundamental in choosing your candidates. i believe in destiny. that means i believe in God. and i believe God will choose the right man to me. :)
then about him. i just wanna say that his effort-his way to talk and write about me-his character touches me. so much touching. thank you. but, let’s see then, who will He take to me and to him.

Did I Change?
An old buddy sent me text messaging in an afternoon.
Ass diLLa,9mn kbr’y?CoRry ney 9ang96u reunian t9L 28’y Jd 9 ceY? [Bahasa version]
Hey dilla, how are u? Sorry to disturb u. Shall we hold the reunion on 28? [English version]
I set my brow furrowed. OMG, I didn’t understand what did she mean to me? She used a strange typing style and I didn’t like it. Then I replied her SMS.
W3. Reunian apa? Aq ga dpt pemberitahuan, Coy. [Bahasa version]
W3. What reunion? I didn’t get the notification, Coy. [English Version]
FYI, at the first time I thought the SMS came from my friend whose name Cory alias Coy. Because she typed ‘corry ney’ (look at the first SMS) on the first SMS. Then I knew she was not Cory but Mae. LOL. What kinda friend I am? Umm, frankly, sometime I didn’t save some number of friends in my main cell phone. I saved them in my second (CDMA) cell phone. So it aint freak anymore right after reading this paragraph, huh? [note: some of this blog’s readers would say what freak, huh? What freak?]
Mae sent me SMS again.
Ini dilla kan? Bhs’y aneh… [Bahasa version]
Is this really dilla rite? You have weird language… [English version]
What? Me? Bizarre? Strange? LOL. Did I change? More serious? More funny? Yeah friend, buddy, this is me. Let me know which part on me that really change. What kinda of change? Bad into good or in the contrary?
Haha, well, I have some friends who told me this also. They said I was changed. Ya, ya, I changed. I was being woman, okay. I should be more mature. I was not a child anymore. Then, did you, my friends, feel so awkward to me? Just because of this change? Oh come on… LOL. We are human, buddies. We would change into the bigger and better part. We would take on higher part, rite. Just take it easy. Just take it slow.
Try to understand that I'm
Trying to make a move just to stay in the game
I try to stay awake and remember my name
But everybody's changing
And I don't feel the same. [everybody's changing- Keane]

Hurt
‘Don’t worry, D. I’ll be fine. Just cannot connect to internet for a while.’
That the last text messaging I had accepted from the one that I know as my lover and we’re in love one another. I set straight face to see his message. After that day, I tried to not call him either via cell phone or internet. I just tested him, was he really love or not. But finally I knew that he never would call me anymore. NEVER. Because he was engaged with someone.
ENGAGED. That what I read on his Facebook. Then I felt something hit me on the heart which was really hurt. Hey, somebody, tell me why?! Actually, that news would never really a problem to me if he have told me at the first or when he started off falling in love with another girl. He was ENGAGED and he never would told me until I asked him. Such a ridiculous, huh. Then he was lying me when I asked him whether he loved me or not. Then he was lying me when he talked anything honestly. Then he just fooled me. Hey reader, give him applause, please.
HONEST: only this what I wanted from him or from any men who loved me. If you have no feeling to me, just say NO. On the other hand, say YES if you were really in love to me. To be hurt by HONEST is more I like than by LIE.
Well, this is just my useless article to be read. Just leave the comment box if you were sick with this article. Okay, back to smile coz I felt breathing again after writing this one.

Malang: Great City
finally my dream comes true, friend. i got chance to visit Malang and stayed there for a week. i felt the cool air and breath the clean air. i saw the green of trees and the blue of mountains. i can feel this situation which i never have before in Jakarta. Malang is different. it’s so pure village in East Java, Indonesia. i bet you would love it too.
Malang is famous city since early time. it has already been settled for long time since VOC still colonized Indonesia. it is surrounded by many rivers and mountains. so that’s why Malang still has good weather with cool air and good view whether it grows up as modern city. yeah, unlike Jakarta which is hot and also very crowded everywhere. Jakarta produces pollution so much every day.
Malang is ideal city. other big cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya should adopt the construction of this Malang and how it’s maintained. the benefit factor that it has is located in upland near to mountains. but i believe Jakarta also can be green and great city to be settled. the local government should focus on the city straightly and commit to make the city green. persuading people to care to their city is good idea and should be held on.
Malang is great city. it is the city i want to live. it is the city i want to spend my whole life with my family. i love the cool air and i love the mountains. i love the weather and the people. i want to create my tree house and the gardens over there. hope it would come true. :)

Hijab and Your Hair
One day on Ramadhan 1430H, I’d been invited to a breakfasting party in Sushi Tei in Plaza Indonesia. As we know, sushi is one of popular Japanese foods. Unfortunately I don’t really care to this food. The taste is unfamiliar in my tongue. After all, I tried it, just to fulfill my curious and just to pay homage to my boss who invited me into that restaurant.
Continuo to condition of break fasting at Sushi Tei, No many people came to there, just around 10-13 persons. And most of all are VVIP yet me, who just a volunteer. And also, I was the only one who used hijab there. Actually, I am also the only one muslimah who uses the hijab in the office, then I proud of it. Okay, then break fasting is still continuing. We, my volunteer friends and I ordered well done sushi, yet when I ate them; it tasted strange in my tongue. I didn’t know why, may be I didn’t used to eat Japanese food. And when I talked with my two volunteer friends (one is Indonesian and another is American), my hijab was in disorder. Some part of my hair fell out into forehead. And more than once my friends told me about that. Especially my American friend, she said, “DILA, YOUR HAIR!!” then I felt ashamed by that. I also felt moving emotionally by that.
Okay, about Hijab and hair, I believe every single of Muslim knows about this hijab rule. Hijab is an obligation for adult woman. As Allah has commanded on Qs. Al-Ahzab: 59
O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

What Crossing Over For
‘every day thousands of people illegally cross our borders… only one thing stands in their way. AMERICA’
Do you know the film of ‘Crossing Over’? this is a new film from Wayne Kramer. this tells about illegal immigrants from different countries to come to America and eager become permanent residence in USA. they do any efforts to get the green card. they often do a furtive illegal action such as lying the immigrant officer, doing falsifying green card, cheating with the corrupt immigrant officer, etc. so complicated problem.
in this film, told immigrants from some countries, Mireya Sánchez (Alice Braga) , Claire Sephard (Alice Eve), Taslima Jahangir (Summer Bishil), Yong Kim (Justin Chon), etc. they don’t know each other in the film. they have different culture, family and also problem. but the similarity in this case is they’re engaged in one problem: CROSSING OVER (eager to be American citizen). Mireya Sánchez is a worker from Mexico, then found dead in the near border between America and Mexico after she’d deported. Alice Eve is an Australian actress. She try to be big artist in America and use the illegal way to get the green card. Taslima Jahangir just a 15 years old girl from Bangladesh who uses hijab. she often reveal her mind of Islam view on some articles especially in some school tasks. she says on the paper that Islam is great religion. and Jihad is the great way to die. she try to write the article from the bomber side. but her classmates, teacher and head principal are too afraid by Taslima’s deed. then they call FBI to look at Taslima.
this is good film. you could see the complicated problem in here on immigrants’ side. in the last scene, it’s performed the naturalization ceremony. naturalization is held to those who change their nationality status into American (USA) citizen. it’s not easy to be an American citizen (if you interested). but i never interested to be the citizen of it. Indonesia is the most beautiful place for me. it can’t changed. :)
to you who want to watch this film, pliz download it free in here.

Dark Pearl from Mataram
My advisor at office just came back from Mataram, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Indonesia. She brought many souvenirs to us, as her staffs and volunteers. When I finished my ashar pray, she called me to give that souvenir. She said that that is a pearl from Mataram. I said, really? Well, she assured me with saying “of course!” . Hmm, I made smile on the lips. Well, thx Mom! It’s great to have a dark pearl from east. Did you know? The pearl’s mixed with green color from leaves accessories. It’s beautiful.
Pearl from Mataram. Actually I won’t discuss about the pearl, but the Mataram city. Because I don’t know is it the producer of pearls. Mataram is the capital of Nusa Tenggara Barat province. It has a beautiful view. Tourists most like to visit some great places here such as, Taman Sangkareang, Pantai Senggigi, and Cakranegara.
Hmm, actually, I also never visit there but im eager sometime. Hope so! I wanna see how beauty is it.
Cracking the Poor Glasses
Again, I did a blunder. And again, I did it to my lovely glasses. Well, that day, when I was doing volunteering action to an exhibition at Shangrila Hotel. After praying I went to a lavatory to do washing my glasses. I rubbed the old glasses using hotel soap and water. I rubbed it hardly. And suddenly, “crack!!”. Oh, damn! That’s my hell glasses. It’s cracked on the right part. Then I tried to fit it again into one piece in the frame. So you could see the slash cracked in the half on the right glass. Finally I decided to put my glasses off and saved it into my bag. Then I saw without it. It’s difficult. But I tried to smile and keep seeing. Rather I have the new one, Im still loving that poor spectacle. Phu-phu-phu… I was so much regretted. *too much!!*

A Gift from Pakde Cholik
This afternoon (12/09), my father called me with clear voice more than three times when I was working in front of computer in my room. Frankly speaking, I was too lazy to come to him but I said, “Okay dad, wait a moment.” But I didn’t down stairs early. I decided to stay longer for 10-15 minutes before I really did walk down. When I got out of the room, I found a packet put on floor. Wew, maybe someone had delivered this when I worked with computer.
Then I took the packet. Written on the one side there:
To:
Nanda Fadhilatul Muharram Abdullah

Unfortunately, Indonesia is the poor country. Yes, we’re the poor. We’re the people who work and give the harvest to foreigner. We’re vulnerable people in rich country. We’re rich by the nature resources but we’re too stupid with our warmth. Sometime people take the benefit from our stupid. We pleased they come and take part in our gold mining in Jayapura. Then we get nothing exception for a little part. We pleased they come into our economic problem and gave some money as a gift (actually it’s an obligation, it’s a DEBT) then they ruined us with crisis of it. We’re too kind and those usurers are so good in their guile.
Also, Indonesian, sometime, is not the hard worker. We’re lazy nation. We have too much dreams without trying to approach them. We’re used being corruptor in every single sector, from the time to the money. We’re love to fighting with anyone. The students, from elementary school to the university, have good point in bullying, even the grown folks. This is the real that you have to know. I tell this because they won’t tell you in wikipedia or any webs of information. I tell you the truth, dude.
But overall, Indonesia is my home and would always be my home. I was born on this fatherland. I was born to build this great fatherland. And I was born to die here with all my love to this fatherland.
Thank you.
