friendship…
it is a simple word but meant a lot for me
it teaches me everything about world
it teaches me how to respect the other
but it’s also hurt me when I was betrayed
friendship was not always easy
it was not gave you the all happiness
it gave you sadness either
but I never regret for it
it was the best thing that i ever had
then my story began……
i have four best friends
we met each other when we was in the first grade of senior high school
we did many things together because we had same hobbies: that was reading
our favorite place for hang-out was a bookstore
we made a group
it called Cute Girls
we went everywhere together
and we also shared everything either
we were like sisters
there’s no secret among us
we promised for being best friends forever
until our hair become white
until the death separated us
i loved them so much
in short, nowadays was the eight years of our friendship
yeah…eight years; time was passed so fast
many things had changed during the time
and sadly, including our friendship…
after graduated from the college; slowly but surely, all of us were got a job
we pretty much enjoyed the time for earn money; but not with the job
we just loved the pay day time; hahahaa…
but money really changed everything
i can’t believe it at first
sadly, it was really happened
and it happened to one of my best friend
i used to called her “G”…
“G” graduated from one of the most reputable university in Jakarta
actually, I did not realized too much about her change because both of us were busy
but another best friend remind me about her
money and prestige had changed her a lot
she never share and honest to me anymore
the first time she betrayed me i still can forgive her
at that time; all of us were seeking a job
we went to any job fairs to find the jobs
we even went to Bogor
everything that we can do
she also joined us at first
but when we almost desperate to search again
she asked us to stay for a while and wait the info from her
she was promised to give us a good news
we believe in her and we were waiting for almost two months
but in the end of the month we knew something
something that made everything was different
she has already has the job
the job that really wanted by my another best friend
and she never told us about it
she pretended that she was innocence
i really disappointed with her
she never said sorry for anything that she did
she did not contact me for a long time
and even she sent me message; it was only to make herself proud
she also said that she has a prestigious job and also a rich boyfriend now
she told me everything about her ‘wonderful life’
she never asked about me; or the other member of our group
she always said about herself
she did not care about us anymore
she was too busy with her own bussiness
but she never want to introduce me to her life
maybe because she felt ashamed
maybe because i was not at the same level with her
maybe because she did not respect me anymore as her best friend
there were so many questions on my head
but something that surely
i really felt like her dust bin
and best friend were not like that
i did not recognized her anymore
i felt hurt; either the others
but we could not changed anything
it was the way that she has been chosen
however, i will try to forgive her once again
i did not have the right for judging her
let the time telling her that she was wrong
i do really miss her so mush
because she still my best friend
and i will keep my promised
friendship forever…….

Our paths they did cross, tough I cannot say just why.
We met
Before we met, we’re just a total stranger. Both of us don’t know each other. Then we met. We exchange our name. I’m no good at remembering people’s name, so I spell your name twice. You spell my name too. The foundation of a relation was built.
We laughed, we held on fast
And here we are, years after our first met. We’re getting close. We have done activities together. We cried, and we laughed. Sometimes we’re on fighting. But in the end, we understood each other. The bonds were created.
And then we said goodbye

a simple magical word
a greatest simple magical word
Simple
because you shouldn’t have any reasons to stand beside them
you don’t have to use any blink-blink things to hang out with them
you are with them because you want to
no other reasons, simple isn’t it?
Magical
because they can make you laugh while you are feel sad
making you feel better after the strom
convincing you that everything will be alrigth
then you can smile again, magical isn’t it?!
Greatest
because you can share everything with them
sharing smiles, laughs, even cries
just like eyes, do everything together
and the reason only “because you are my friend”, greatest isn’t it?
Because of them I’m still standing here
standing on my own feet
facing all the storm in front of me

A few days ago, a friend of mine asked me to do a favor. She asked me to write kind of article themed friendship. One topic straightly comes to mind at that time is…. friendship between man and woman. Umm.. I think this would be an interesting topic, and i have my own opinion about this, though. So, here we go.
Nowadays, men and women are interacting very actively. They have common hobbies and for that, it can be stay in platonic relationship, like brother-sister. Huh? Do you really think that kind of friendship is exist? Okay, first, let’s try to look into what friendship does mean.
Friendship is co-operative and supportive behavior between two or more people
For most of men, friendship with women is more flexible, they can express their own feelings not like with a man. Because friendship between men is based on acts. Men hate being filed under indecisive. Men would rather do something then talk about it. That’s why we rarely see a man speaking to his friend for hours, about upcoming trip, for example.
Whereas, the friendship between women mostly based on trust. It is an open secret that women like to pouring their hearts out to each other, they enjoy giving advice and debate a variety of subjects at length. Friendship with men, women like to have pretended brothers, because with a male friend she can feel safe.
And for that good reason, maybe they (men or women) can talk with their friends about things which should not be touched upon when talking with their spouses or partners with no worries. Yeah, because usually human beings enjoy their time with the opposite sex, right?
But why cant a man and a woman be just friends? And is it really possible that this friendship might end into falling in love with each other? Well the basics of friendship are actually interests and confidence, not gender. However, friendship still..cant be truly made between men and women. Why? As we know, God did create in pairs, male and female.
Although, some of them may say; I think it’s possible, our friendship is a beautiful thing and we support each other through lifes ups and downs. We never developed romantic feelings, it will just ruin the friendship. True, if friendship between opposite sex is a beautiful thing, but the fear of developing romantic feeling is rather like true happens. You can say no, i dont have any feeling more than just a friend, then you are lying. I am sure, at least one of the friends have that feeling, but she/he rather shut her/his mouth because of the reason; romantic feeling will just ruined the friendship. The truly reason that they can never show up is; afraid of the other’s respond. In other mean, they dont wanna get hurt themselves by knowing the person they have falling in is actually doesnt have the same feeling as they do. And they dont wanna separate away from that person, even he/she doesnt have feeling more than just a friend. It’s okay as long as i can close to him/her.That’s pity.
Love is closely related to friendship in that it involves strong interpersonal ties between two or more people
Or I say, a man and a woman can‘t be friends, unless he‘s gay or she‘s lesbian. Nyahahaha.
But who cares anyway?? yeah, i dont care, and maybe you dont care either. Well, this post is just for sharing my opinion. Even it’s not making a conclusion, yes you can, or no you cant just friends with your opposite sex friend, I only share my thought about that kind of friendship.
I found an interesting opinion about this issue. One woman suggests how can a man and a woman be just friends: “you should go sleep in one bed (only sleep, no sex). If you will sleep soundly, without any distractions – yes, you can be friends, but if not…” Hahaha, true.
So, i still in my opinion, truly friendship between men and women is nonsense. How about yours?
